The Cage Or The Circle

The Cage Or The Circle

Brother,

There was a time in my life when my world was nothing more than noise.

The kind of noise that drowns out your potential… and convinces you it never existed in the first place.

When I served in the military, my surroundings were a battlefield long before I ever stepped into any combat zone.

Not a battlefield of weapons, but of distractions.

Cheap alcohol. Dark rooms. Pills passed between fingers.

Dopamine highs disguised as “fun.”

Boys playing at being men because they were terrified of silence… terrified of God… terrified of themselves.

And I was in the middle of it.

Lost in the current.

Drifting with whatever group I found myself beside.

Looking back, I realise something powerful:

Environment is not a backdrop. Environment is a destiny.

Back then, I’d hear sayings on social media like:

“Your network is your net worth.”

But they slid straight past me.

I thought they just meant, “If your mates drink, you’ll drink.”

I had no idea how deep the truth really went.

I didn’t understand that environment is not about behaviour,  it’s about becoming.

I didn’t understand that the people around you are either building the man you are becoming…..or burying him.

It wasn’t until I finally woke up, until God shook me awake, that I realised how dangerously small my world actually was.

So I changed my circle.

In fact, I dissolved it completely.

I stopped spending my nights with people who only wanted my time, never my growth.

And I replaced those hours with something far more valuable:

Learning. Feeding my mind. Strengthening my spirit.

Books. Podcasts. Conversations with men who had walked through fire and built themselves anyway.

And as my knowledge grew, so did my confidence.

Then something unexpected happened:

When I finally sat with millionaires…or when I shook hands with a billionaire recently here in Paphos…I didn’t shrink. I held my own.

I realised something extraordinary, self-investment is the language of powerful men.

And the more you invest in yourself, the deeper the rooms you’re invited into.

It was almost amusing to watch their faces.

How could an ex-military lad speak like this?

Think like this?

Hold himself like this?

They didn’t understand the years of obsession.

The years of consuming knowledge like it was oxygen.

The years of choosing discipline over dopamine.

Wisdom over noise.

Elevation over escape.

That’s when my world started to shift.

Doors opened.

Networks expanded.

Opportunities appeared that never existed before.

But none of this happened by accident.

It came from one understanding…..

You cannot rise in a circle built to keep you down.

And brother… this is where I need to speak directly to you.

Inside Project Knight, you are no longer a man drifting.

You are a man developing.

A man choosing himself, sometimes for the first time in his life.

But if your environment still belongs to your old identity, if your friends still pressure you to drink, to “escape,” to waste your weekends, if your circle still normalises mediocrity…

Then you do not have a circle.

You have a cage.

And cages are comfortable.

They’re familiar.

They’re warm.

But they never lead to greatness.

So tonight, as you read this Sovereign Scroll, ask yourself honestly:

Do I want to become highly successful?

Do I want to elevate every level of my life?

Do I want to rise into the man God intended me to be?

If the answer is yes, and I know it is, then you must audit your circle, your conversations, and your environment with the seriousness of a surgeon holding a scalpel.

Because life and death are in the power of the tongue.

And the tongues you listen to every day are shaping your future more than you realise.

Brother, you are here to become sovereign.

But sovereignty cannot grow in soil poisoned by old habits and old friends.

If you want a bigger life…

you need a bigger environment.

If you want to evolve…

you need to exit the cage.

And if you want to rise…

you need to surround yourself with men who rise.

Choose your circle wisely, because the right circle will build you into a king, and the wrong one will bury you as a boy.

Stay sharp.

Stay sovereign.
